A 22-year-old man and a 13-year-old boy have been arrested for filming themselves torturing dogs and puppies and posting the videos on YouTube.

Joshua Moore and the young teen are accused of spinning puppies on their leashes, rubbing alcohol on a dog's testicles, biting the animals as well throwing them in the air and letting them drop.

Moore was arrested at an address in Chicago last night and has been charged with eight counts of cruelty to animals and four counts of animal torture.

They put duct tape on a dog?s testicles and ripped it off.

Evil: One of the videos show a male biting a helpless puppy's neck so hard it cries out in pain

He told arresting officers that 'everything shown in the videos was for entertainment purposes and that he did not think he did anything wrong', a police report says, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The boy was charged with six counts of cruelty to animals and three counts of animal torture.

Officers began investigating after people saw the YouTube videos and raised the alarm, police News Affairs Officer Jon Mirabelli told My Fox Chicago.

In one clip, a suspect allegedly suspended a dog from a harness and leash, and spun it violently in circles in mid-air until the animal's eyes started to pulsate rapidly.

One of the two bragged that 'you couldn't tell it was a dog' because he was moving as fast as 'a propeller', reports the Chicago Tribune.

In the background the puppies could be seen cowering while the other dogs were being abused.

In another video, the boy pours and rubs alcohol on a dog's testicles, then applies duct tape before 'violently' ripping it off, twice, the police report states according to the Tribune.

Others allegedly showed the man and boy violently tossing dogs into the air and letting them hit the floor.

The videos have since been taken off YouTube following complaints from PETA .

The suspects are also accused of making foorage of themselves tormenting a female dog by hiding her newly born puppies from her as a form of psychological torture, Mirabelli told Fox.

They film and follow the mother as she frantically searches for them around the property.

Police claim the suspects also forced some dogs to eat their own feces in other videos, all of which were filmed in January and February.

They also allegedly poured lemon juice down a dog's throat until it started gagging.

The pair were arrested after using their names in the videos and displaying several distinctive tattoos which helped police identify them, Mirabelli told Fox.

After searching the property in the South Austin neighborhood, five dogs and five puppies, all terriers, chihuahuas or mixes of the two, were removed and placed with the city's animal care unit, reports the Tribune.

'We're just super relieved these dogs are safe. It was quite clear they'd be subjected to malicious torture by these people.

'They thought it was funny to torture these tiny little dogs.' said Daphna Nachminovitch, vice president of cruelty investigations at PETA.

The videos have since been taken off YouTube following complaints from  PETA .
