YOMYOMF Network, a launch partner of YouTube's original channels initiative, has teamed with Andy Fickman's Oops Doughnuts and Bobby Smith's Ashore Entertainment to produce "Internet Icon," which aims to find the next viral sensation.

Musician Chester See will host the show, while popular YouTube personality Ryan Higa will judge along with "Stevie TV" thesp Christine Lakin.

Contestants will compete in a series of challenges designed to highlight their creativity and filmmaking skills in an effort to become the next big Internet star.

Production begins in late April and the show will air in mid-May, with the audience voting on a winner prior to its July finale. The contest starts today and entrants can find additional details on Facebook.

YOMYOMF Network springs from YouOffendMeYouOffendMyFamily.com, an Asian American pop culture blog founded in 2009 by "Fast Five" helmer Justin Lin, Higa and See, as well as Kevin Wu, Abdul Khan, Philip W. Chung, Cash Warren and NBA star Baron Davis.

Oops Doughnuts is currently developing "Boy Scouts vs. Zombies" for Paramount and "The Plantation" for RKO/Twisted Pictures. Company recently wrapped production on Jennifer Love Hewitt-starrer "Jewtopia" and the Billy Crystal-Bette Midler comedy "Parental Guidance," which 20th Century Fox and Walden Media will release Nov. 21.

Ashore Entertainment is a multi-media production company specializing in film, television, Internet and animation.
