Ugh "The Hunger Games." First the books were SO GOOD, and now the movie is supposed to be SO GOOD, and meanwhile, the soundtrack is definitely SO GOOD. Here's a great representative to start your weekend, Neko "Kidman's tough little sister" Case, singing all sweet and sad-like about "giving her something to remember" (meaning Katniss. Give Katniss something to remember, Peeta! Or Gale! (Team Both))
Already the song has launched a fierce debate amongst the tweens of YouTube. Consider the options:
this song should be played when Katniss is going to meet Gale in the woods at the very beginning :) --iBlonddee
This should be played when Peeta and Katniss are going to the Capitol on the train
OR
When Peeta and Katniss are getting ready to their interviews!!!! -- KandyandChocolate
In such matters, we declare there to be no winners or losers, only scholarly enjoyers of the Hunger Games franchise. (Our hope: the flower scene with Rue! Like the song is Katniss' badass and yet sensitive plea to the Districts? "I owe you nothing," etc. It works!) On that note, we leave you to enjoy/cry/form your own definitive opinion about the song's placement.
