AUSTIN (KXAN) - Rainey Street has been transformed into " Google Village " for SXSW this year.
The internet giant says they've created the village to showcase their vision of the future.
According to their website:
"This year at SXSW, we're bringing a taste of the Googleplex to you. Come stop by the Google Village during Interactive to get a glimpse of Google's view of the future, and don't miss two full days of rooftop concerts at Live from the Lot during Music"
Visitors can peruse four "lots," bars Google has converted into village structures at the corer of Rainey and Driskill Streets.
The company also say's they will share Google Offers to help you find awesome deals on great places to eat, shop and play in your city. You can also visit the Maps House, where you can pick up a Google Offers passport, which grants you access to all the Google Offers carts stationed throughout the Village.
